The 41st Annual Southern Maryland Crops Conference is sponsored by the University of Maryland Extension and local agribusiness firms and organizations and provides an opportunity for those involved in agriculture to meet and discuss common problems and hear from experts on the latest in agricultural production and management. Timely topics scheduled for the 2022 conference include:

• Interpreting soil fertility tests and deciding where to save on fertilizer
• Fall herbicide strategies for managing resistant weeds
• Tar spot in corn and the 2022 crop disease report
• Well water quality and pesticide spray efficacy
• Updates on local nutrient management and pesticide regulations
• And more!

Participants will have the opportunity to visit sponsor exhibits and talk with company representatives. Attendance at this program will fulfill the requirements for Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification and Nutrient Management Voucher Training.
